More information about Malaga:

A trip along the Costa Tropical and the Costa del Sol, passing through the typical white villages of Andalusia.

Malaga, founded by the Phoenicians, is situated at the coast of the Mediterranean Sea with its mild blue water, under the intense warm Andalusian sun, full of style and charm. Its fame in tourism comes above all from the Costa del Sol. Not in vain is the city proud of its climate, one of the warmest and most enchanting climates of the Iberian Peninsula, with so many sun-hours per years that it would be a pure coincidence if your visit takes places on a cloudy day. The city as well as the province contain exceptional wonders, the testimony of a long, rich history. The city is lively and cosy, with numerous gardens and the Andalusian grace of architecture with memories of the Arabs. But more the buildings, Malaga is famous as here Pablo Picasso was born, of which the Museum Picasso remembers.

Malaga is one of the most visited cities of Europe. Amongst the monuments we visit is the cathedral, whose construction was started in 1528 by Diego de Siloe and is also called “the lame” as the construction was never finished, as also the ruins of the Castle of Gibralfaro, an Arabian fortress from the 14th century where the Parador can be found.
