Day 1 (Monday) MADRID – CORDOBA – SEVILLE
Departure from Madrid at 08:30 a.m. We'll drive southward along the land of Don Quixote, “The Man from La Mancha”, along the way observing vast vineyards. We'll cross the natural border of “Despeñaperros” and get into Andalucia, a region with a huge heritage from a splendorous past. Our first destination is Cordoba. We’ll do an impressive tour of its Mosque and later we'll enjoy some beautiful places that will ease our mind and spirit meanwhile strolling through the narrow winding streets of the Jewish Quarter. In the afternoon, after a short ride we’ll arrive to Seville. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
Day 2 (Tuesday) SEVILLE
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning we’ll do a monumental and panoramic city tour – the Cathedral (visit from outside), which is the second largest in the Catholic world after St. Peter's in Rome, The Santa Cruz Quarter, the natural scene of “Carmen”, and as well, the place where the myth of “Don Juan” developed. Later on we'll continue through the Maria Luisa Park and Spain Square. Afternoon at leisure for you to discover at your own pace the specific flavours of this active full of light city. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel. Optionally at nicght you can enjoy an authentic Flamenco Show.
Day 3 (Wednesday) SEVILLE – GRANADA
After breakfast we'll head east through the Caliphate Road to reach the heart of Andalusia observing an endless number of olive trees on our way to Granada, an incredible and amazing monumental environment, the last stronghold of the Moorish Kingdom up to 1492. We'll visit the world famous Alhambra Palace (Red Palace) and Generalife Gardens. Its fountains, gardens and patios (courtyards) have inspired several authors with their sounds and sights, such as the “Tales of the Alhambra” by W. Irving. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel. Optionally you can see a Gipsy Flamenco Show held in a cave-house at Sacromonte Quarter.
Day 4 (Thursday) GRANADA – TOLEDO – MADRID
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive northward where, toward the sky of Castile and surrounded by the Tagus River, it emerges the impressive Imperial City of Toledo - a World Heritage City - where the three cultures Christians, Moorish and Jewish, have lived together in harmony. Resume of the Spanish art, history and spirituality, the whole town of Toledo is a National Monument. We'll do a city tour that includes the most important monuments, its narrow streets and we'll discover the famous “Damasquinado Art” (gold and silver inlaying in iron). After the visit we'll continue to Madrid. Arrival and end of our services.
