Day 1 (Thursday) MADRID – CACERES – SEVILLE
Departure from Madrid towards the Region of Extremadura and arrival to Caceres. Its medieval walled city has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Free time at your disposal to visit its Plaza Mayor and to walk through the old city and its famous medieval quarter. After lunch (not included), we'll continue southwards to Andalusia, a region with a huge heritage from a splendorous past. Arrival to Seville, the capital city of Andalusia, transfer to our hotel and accommodation. We'll have our dinner in a central located restaurant close to the Cathedral.
Day 2 (Friday) SEVILLE
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning we’ll do a monumental and panoramic city tour – the surroundings of the Cathedral, which is the second largest in the catholic world after St. Peter's in Rome, the Santa Cruz Quarter, the place where the famous opera “Carmen” was set, and also where the myth of “Don Juan” developed. Later on we'll continue through the Maria Luisa Park and the impressive Plaza de España "Spain Square". Luch in a local restaurant included. Afternoon at leisure for you to discover at your own pace the specific flavours of this active city. You can also visit the breathtaking Royal Palace - Alcazar (optional activity, not included). Accommodation at the hotel. Optionally at night you can enjoy an authentic Flamenco Show.
Day 3 (Saturday) SEVILLE – RONDA - COSTA DEL SOL
After breakfast we'll drive south along the Route of the White Washed Villages to reach Ronda, one of the most beautiful towns in Andalusia, situated on the gorge of the Guadalevin River (locally known as Tajo de Ronda). Free time to admire this town of Celtic origin and the marvellous views of the valley and mountain range. In the afternoon continue on to the Costa del Sol, one of the most modern and important international tourist areas. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
Day 3 (Sunday) COSTA DEL SOL - FEZ
After breakfast we'll drive along the picturesque tourist route of Costa del Sol via internationally renowned places as Marbella and Puerto Banus, arrive Algeciras or Tarifa where a ferry boat will be used for a short and interesting crossing of the Strait of Gibraltar towards Africa. Arrival to Morocco, disembark, clear customs and continue on by bus via Larache to Fez, the most monumental one of the Imperial Cities, its University of “Karaouyne” is the largest Islamic sanctuary in Morocco, and the oldest religious education center. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
5th Day (Monday) FEZ
Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a morning city tour of the most ancient and monumental of the Imperial Cities visiting the most interesting points: the 7 gates of the Royal Palace, Jewish Quarter or Mellah, gate of Bab Bojloud and walking tour of the “Medina” (Old City), the largest in North Africa and declared World Heritage Site. Afternoon free. Dinner and accommodation at hotel. In the evening you'll have the possibility to enjoy a show & dinner in a typical restaurant.
6th Day (Tuesday) FEZ - MEKNES - MARRAKECH
After breakfast at the hotel we'll drive towards the ancient city of Meknes, old walled imperial city located in the heart of the Mid Atlas. Panoramic tour to admire the great Bab Al Mansour Gate, Morocco’s most beautiful gate and other highlights of this town. Continue driving southwards through the Mid-Atlas mountains to Marrakech, Capital of the South, which is located within an extensive oasis between the Atlas Mountains and the pre-desertic area. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
7th Day (Wednesday) MARRAKECH
Breakfast at the hotel. City sightseeing tour, including the Koutoubia Tower, twin tower of the Giralda in Seville, Saadines Tombs and sumptuous Bay Palace. In the afternoon walk around the Medina, souks and the magic Djemaa El Fna Square (World Heritage Site by UNESCO), which is packed with fortune tellers, snake tamers, acrobats, dancers, all making of it the neuralgic center of the city, an open air theatre that requires the participance of the audience. Don’t forget your camera. Back to the hotel and time free at your disposal. Dinner and accommodation at hotel. Optional dinner with show at “Fantasia Chez Ali” complex.
8th Day (Thursday) MARRAKECH - CASABLANCA - RABAT
After breakfast departure northwards via Benguerir and Settat to Casablanca, industrial and economic capital of Morocco and the most populated city housing a 10% of the country population. Panoramic tour through the most interesting sections of the city, Anfa boulevard, Nations Square, residential areas and visit from outside of the Grand Gosque Hassan II. In the afternoon we'll continue to Rabat, diplomatic and administrative capital of Morocco, official residence of the King Mohamed VI. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
9th Day (Friday) RABAT - LARACHE - TANGIER
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning city tour visiting the important sights as the Royal Palace from outside, Mohamed V Mausoleum, the unfinished Hassan Tower, which are important examples of the Almohade architecture. In the afternoon, via Larache, we will head for Tangier, cosmopolitan city that has always been pretended for many civilizations due to its strategic location, at the main gate of Europe and Africa. Short panoramic tour. Time at leisure. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
10th Day (Saturday) TANGIER - COSTA DEL SOL
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the harbour and board the ferry to return across the Strait of Gibraltar back to Spain. Drive along the Costa del Sol towards the hotel. Free time at your disposal to enjoy the marvelous seaside resort or shopping. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
11th Day (Sunday) COSTA DEL SOL - GRANADA
After breakfast we'll head to the city of Granada, an incredible and amazing monumental environment, the last stronghold of the Moorish Kingdom up to 1492. We'll visit the world famous Alhambra Palace (Red Palace) and Generalife Gardens. Its fountains, gardens and patios (courtyards) have inspired several authors with their sounds and sights, such as the “Tales of the Alhambra” by W. Irving. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel. Optionally you can see a Gipsy Flamenco Show held in a cave-house at Sacromonte Quarter.
12th Day (Monday) GRANADA – TOLEDO – MADRID
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive northward where, toward the sky of Castile and surrounded by the Tagus River, it emerges the impressive Imperial City of Toledo –a World Heritage City- where the three cultures Christians, Moorish and Jewish, have lived together in harmony. Resume of the Spanish art, history and spirituality, the whole town of Toledo is a National Monument. We'll do a city tour that includes the most important monuments, its narrow streets and we'll discover the famous “Damasquinado Art” (gold and silver inlaying in iron). After the visit we'll continue to Madrid. Arrival and end of our services.
